Finance Team Lead - Record to Report (R2R) - Cambridge - £55k

We're partnering with a global business to recruit a Finance Team Lead to oversee the Record to Report (R2R) function within a shared services environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance leader to manage a team, drive process improvement, and ensure the delivery of accurate, controlled, and efficient financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of up to 10 finance professionals
  • Drive high-quality service delivery across the R2R function
  • Oversee month-end close, journal processing, accruals, reconciliations, revenue recognition and fixed assets
  • Ensure strong financial controls, compliance and risk management
  • Build relationships with finance and business stakeholders across multiple regions
  • Identify and implement process improvements and standardisation initiatives
  • Monitor KPIs and service levels to ensure operational excellence

About You

  • Accounting, Finance or Business qualification
  • Previous experience leading finance teams
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, reporting processes and operational risk
  • Experience within Record to Report, General Ledger or Shared Services environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong systems knowledge, including ERP platforms and advanced Excel skills
