Finance Team Member

Department: Finance - On Property

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Hilton London Bankside

Compensation: £32,632 / year

Description

As a Finance Team Member you will contribute to the management of the day-to-day processing of the account receivable and accounts payable records, finance processes and systems. You’ll be empowered by the finance team to ensure hotel revenues and cash banking are correctly accounted for, losses minimised, revenue audit procedures are followed and updated the procedures as and when required.

What You Will Do In This Splendid Role:

You will be part of a crucial team supporting other departments manage and deliver financial goals. Here’s what you will be expected to do:

  • Process invoices and payments – Manage AP and AC inbox, match invoices with POs/delivery notes, ensure correct coding and VAT treatment, and prepare BACS and direct debit payments.
  • Manage supplier accounts – Support dandling queries, reconcile statements, follow up on credit notes, and maintain accurate records of supplier transactions.
  • Support financial reporting – Reconcile aged creditors, prepare accruals and balance sheet schedules, and assist with audits and month-end processes.
  • Maintain compliance and controls – Ensure adherence to PO procedures, maintain filing systems, and support inventory and expense reporting requirements.
  • Reconcile daily hotel and F&B revenues, payments, discounts, allowances, credit cards, and banking; investigate discrepancies; and ensure accurate posting into financial systems.
  • Oversee daily cash handling, banking, petty cash, floats, foreign exchange, and reconciliations; ensure controls are followed to safeguard assets and minimise losses.
