Our client, a leading UK property management and real estate services business is undertaking a major transformation of its Finance function alongside a Workday implementation.

About the Role

They are looking for an experienced Finance Transformation / Operating Model Consultant to lead the review and restructuring of a c200-300-person Client Accounting function across multiple UK locations. This is a specialist Client Accounting transformation assignment rather than a generic ERP implementation role. The successful individual will assess the current structure, identify opportunities to simplify and centralise the function, and design a scalable future-state operating model.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an end-to-end current-state review of the Client Accounting function.
  • Assess organisational design, reporting lines, spans of control, headcount and capability.
  • Design the future-state Client Accounting operating model.
  • Identify opportunities for restructuring, consolidation, centralisation and shared services.
  • Review Client Accounting / Property Accounting processes, including service charge accounting and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual activity and improve reporting, controls and data quality.
  • Make recommendations around headcount, seniority, team structure and future recruitment requirements.
  • Work alongside the Workday implementation partner to ensure the people, process and organisational model supports the technology transformation.
  • Assess the potential to centralise Treasury and other appropriate finance activities.
  • Work with senior Finance, HR and transformation stakeholders to develop an achievable implementation plan.
  • Produce a clear transformation roadmap / Statement of Work covering priorities, deliverables, dependencies and implementation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
