Are you a finance transformation leader who looks beyond traditional offshoring and simple headcount reduction?

We are exclusively working with our client to secure a visionary, delivery-focused Finance Transformation Director for a leading, highly regulated FTSE-listed services group.

Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, this is a high-profile mandate to shift a 300-strong finance function away from tactical cost-cutting and drive fundamental, technology-enabled process reinvention.

The Strategic Mission:

  • End-to-End Process Reinvention: Move past traditional, purely outsourced "lift and shift" models. You will challenge whether specific tasks should be performed at all, and identify the most modern, digitally enabled ways of delivering those that remain.
  • Agentification and AI: Redesign horizontal process ownership, leveraging intelligent automation, machine learning, and autonomous agentic workflows to eliminate manual activities and build a high-value onshore Centre of Excellence.
  • Sweating the Systems Assets: Maximise value from a newly live, large-scale enterprise ERP platform to resolve a lack of standard management reporting and establish robust, clean data flows.
  • Financial Impact: Drive a cost reduction within the group finance function, equivalent to a target of approximately £xx million, directly supporting the broader corporate long-term vision.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Ideal Profile:

  • A proven track record of taking an organisation from low systems and data maturity to high capability, as experience in highly mature, digitally clean environments is less relevant here.
  • A decisive professional who is comfortable holding challenging conversations and driving pace while maintaining psychological safety.
