Finance Transformation Lead – London (Hybrid)
Our Client, a global organisation specialising in data-driven, digital and AI-enabled transformation, is seeking an accomplished Finance Transformation Lead to join their UK Consulting & Transformation practice. This senior appointment requires a highly experienced leader capable of shaping strategy, designing future-state operating models, and delivering complex, multi-workstream finance transformation programmes for major international organisations.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will operate across Finance Strategy, Digital Finance, AI-enabled transformation and Operational Excellence. Acting as a trusted advisor to CFOs and senior finance executives, you will lead end-to-end transformation initiatives spanning process optimisation, ERP modernisation, data and reporting architecture, shared services, and intelligent automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance Transformation Strategy — Develop and lead strategies aligning operating model, process, technology, data and controls with organisational objectives.
- Target Operating Model Design — Design future-state TOMs covering service delivery, governance, organisational structure and technology enablement.
- Process Excellence — Lead transformation across R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting and Financial Controls.
- Digital Finance & ERP Enablement — Shape and deliver digital, automation and AI-enabled solutions including SAP, Oracle, Workday and Dynamics.
- CFO Advisory — Facilitate executive workshops, value discovery sessions and produce board-level deliverables.
- Programme Leadership — Oversee multi-geography programmes, PMO structures, RAID management and benefits realisation.
- Business Development — Support proposals, develop offerings and identify opportunities for growth.
- Team Leadership — Mentor consulting teams, build capability and promote a culture of excellence and innovation.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
- 15–18+ years’ experience in Finance Transformation, consulting, shared services or business transformation.
- Demonstrable success leading large-scale, complex finance programmes.
- Deep expertise in operating model design, process optimisation and finance technology enablement.
- Strong senior stakeholder engagement with CFOs, Finance Directors and executive leadership.
- Experience within insurance, financial services, banking or large global enterprises (preferred).
- Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CFA or an MBA in Finance.
