Finance Transformation & Process Improvement Lead – Contract
📍 West Yorkshire | Hybrid
📆 Initial 6-month contract
💼 Outside IR35 anticipated
⏱ September start preferred
SPG Resourcing is supporting an established organisation to appoint an experienced Finance Transformation & Process Improvement Lead. We are looking for someone who combines a strong commercial finance background with a proven track record of Finance Transformation and Process Improvement.
The role
You will review the existing Finance function, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity, and take ownership of implementing those changes. The scope will include:

- Month end and Financial Control
- Process automation
- AI enabled efficiency opportunities
- ERP enabled transformation
- Implementation and delivery of improvements
About you
You will have:
- Senior-level commercial finance experience
- Proven Finance Transformation experience
- Strong understanding of operational Finance processes
- Experience delivering automation and process improvement
- ERP transformation experience
- Evidence of delivering measurable improvements
- Excellent stakeholder management and high emotional intelligence
- The ability to challenge established ways of working and bring people with you
