We're looking for a talented and driven Finance Transformation Manager on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract to join our Finance Transformation team and play a key role in shaping the future of finance across our business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, leading change and working with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver meaningful, lasting improvements. You'll use your financial expertise, commercial insight and project management skills to identify opportunities, develop innovative solutions and lead transformational programmes that enhance performance, improve efficiency and deliver sustainable value.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Finance Transformation Manager, you'll lead high-impact projects from concept through to implementation, ensuring benefits are realised and embedded into day-to-day operations. You'll work closely with colleagues across Finance, HR, Technology and the wider business to drive improvements that support our Finance Strategy and broader business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and developing opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting and business insight.
- Leading transformation projects from discovery and design through to successful implementation.
- Producing robust analysis, developing business cases and ensuring effective governance throughout project delivery.
- Influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels to build support for change and drive adoption.
- Providing thought leadership on business performance, cost management and continuous improvement.
- Managing project plans, risks, issues and reporting to ensure successful delivery.
- Working closely with finance teams to track, measure and report project benefits.
- Collaborating with support functions and project sponsors to ensure change is embedded and sustained.

HOW WE WORK
You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre in Coventry. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week.

So, you'll usually find us in the office, but working from home is supported, when you need it.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We're seeking an energetic and ambitious individual with a strong track record of delivering business transformation and change programmes. You'll be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, using data and insight to influence decisions and drive positive outcomes.
You'll bring:
- Experience leading complex business change and transformation projects, with proven delivery of sustainable benefits.
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies, change management and risk management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage, challenge and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience identifying, defining and tracking business benefits.
- The ability to quickly understand unfamiliar situations, identify key issues and develop practical solutions.
- Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with process improvement, operational analysis, requirements gathering and process mapping.
- Knowledge of SAP, Kraken, Power BI and Microsoft Office applications.
- The confidence and credibility to work with senior leaders and present strategic recommendations.

Qualifications
While not essential, the following would be advantageous:
- Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or currently working towards one.
- Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement qualifications.
- Degree-level qualification.
- Full UK driving licence.
