A well-established manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Finance Transformation Manager to play a pivotal role in the next phase of its finance transformation journey.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional with a background in systems implementation, process improvement, and finance transformation to join a business investing heavily in modernising its finance function. Working closely with senior finance leadership, IT, and external project partners, you'll be responsible for optimising finance systems, improving reporting, and driving more efficient ways of working across the department.

The Role
You'll act as the finance lead across a range of transformation initiatives, ensuring finance systems and processes are fully optimised whilst embedding scalable, automated, and efficient ways of working.

Key responsibilities include:
- Leading finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Acting as the key liaison between Finance, IT, and external implementation partners
- Identifying system enhancements that improve reporting, controls, and operational efficiency
- Reviewing and redesigning key finance processes including month-end, reporting, reconciliations, and transactional workflows
- Leading user acceptance testing and supporting successful implementation of system improvements
- Driving automation and reducing reliance on manual processes
- Ensuring robust financial controls and reporting integrity throughout the transformation programme
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical solutions
About You
We're keen to speak with qualified accountants (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or experienced finance professionals who have delivered finance transformation or systems projects.

You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience leading or supporting finance transformation programmes
- Experience working on ERP implementations, finance systems, or major process improvement projects
- Strong understanding of finance processes and financial reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across Finance, IT, and third-party partners
- A proactive mindset and genuine passion for improving how finance functions operate
- Experience within manufacturing or another fast-paced commercial environment would be advantageous
