What difference will you make?
We would like to expand our Board of Trustees and it is an exciting time to join us as we plan for a new strategic plan working alongside our newly-formed Trust Leadership Team. We want trustees who can help us grow, bring fresh ideas, and ensure we continue to make a lasting difference. Whether you bring professional expertise or lived experience, your perspective will strengthen our board.
What are we looking for?
Our current Treasurer plans to step down in November 2027 after completing their term of office. By recruiting now, we can provide a generous transition period, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to learn the role, benefit from the Treasurer’s experience, and ensure a smooth handover for the charity.
Our Treasurer maintains an overview of Together Trust’s financial affairs, ensuring that effective and appropriate financial measures, controls and procedures are put in place. The Treasurer also chairs our Financial Oversight and Assurance committee and reports to the Board at regular intervals about the financial health of the organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
