Financial Accountant | 12-Month FTC | Chester (Hybrid)
We're looking for a Financial Accountant to join the Finance team at Forge Holiday Group on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
At Forge Holiday Group, we're home to market-leading brands including Sykes Holiday Cottages, Forest Holidays and Bachcare, with over 1,700 colleagues working together to create unforgettable holiday experiences.
The Essentials:
- 💰 £37,000 - £52,000 DOE
- 📍 Chester HQ (Hybrid - minimum 2 days in the office)
- 📄 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
- 🕒 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday
What You'll Be Doing:
- ✔ Owning financial reporting for business divisions, brands and cost centres
- ✔ Preparing month-end, year-end and statutory accounts
- ✔ Supporting audits, acquisitions and business integrations
- ✔ Providing financial insight and analysis to support decision-making
- ✔ Identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency across the finance function

What We're Looking For:
- ✅ ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or actively studying)
- ✅ Experience preparing statutory accounts and financial reporting
- ✅ Strong knowledge of FRS101/IFRS standards
- ✅ Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
- ✅ Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across the business
