A leading international organisation operating within a fast-paced sector is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant (12 months FTC) to join its established finance team. With a reputation for operational excellence and continuous improvement, the business offers a collaborative environment where technical accounting expertise is highly valued.

This is an excellent opportunity for a practice-trained accountant or experienced industry professional looking to broaden their statutory reporting experience within a complex multi-entity environment.

Your new role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in delivering accurate statutory reporting and ensuring compliance across a portfolio of entities.

This is a highly visible role that offers exposure to senior stakeholders, external auditors, and a wide range of technical accounting matters. You'll be responsible for supporting year-end reporting requirements, managing financial compliance obligations, and contributing to the ongoing development of finance processes and controls.

Alongside your core reporting responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to become involved in finance improvement initiatives and wider projects across the business, making this an excellent role for someone looking to combine technical accounting expertise with commercial exposure.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll be a qualified ACA or ACCA (or International equivalent) accountant with strong technical accounting skills and a keen eye for detail.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Experience gained within audit, assurance, or financial reporting.
  • Strong statutory accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
  • A solid understanding of UK GAAP and/or IFRS.
  • Experience working within a corporate, group, or multi-entity environment.
  • The ability to build relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
  • Experience of SAP or a similar ERP system would be advantageous.
