The Vacancy

Workspace is looking for a Financial Accountant to support our Finance team with financial reporting, management accounts, treasury, and tax compliance across our London portfolio. This role reports into our Group Finance Manager, and you will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial information that supports decision-making across the business and preparing for month-end, Half Year, and Full Year accounts.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual Group reporting.
  • Support consolidation of subsidiary results and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintain intercompany accounts and assist with statutory accounts under IFRS/FRS 102.
  • Prepare journals, analyse variances, and support property-level reporting.
  • Reconcile service charge accounts and process business rates.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Perform daily cash reconciliations and assist with short-term cash flow forecasting.
  • Support VAT, CIS, and corporation tax schedules.
  • Contribute to system improvements and process optimisation.

What We’re Looking For

  • CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Highly organised, proactive, and confident communicating across teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Enthusiastic about learning new systems and improving processes
  • Experience in a REIT/property environment (desirable)
