Description

  • Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports in line with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations.
  • Support audits by providing required documentation and responding to queries.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial expertise and guidance.
  • Maintain and improve existing reporting processes and systems.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities as required.

Profile

A Successful Financial Accountant Should Have

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Experience in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey financial information clearly.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
