Financial Accountant
We're looking for an exceptional Financial Accountant to join a growing finance team in Andover. What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of financial records.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Support external audits and liaise with auditors.
- Produce insightful financial reports and analysis for senior management.
- Improve financial controls, processes, and reporting efficiency.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to support strategic initiatives and commercial decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation.

What We're Looking For
- Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in financial accounting within a commercial or practice environment.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP or finance systems.
- High attention to detail with outstanding organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes and adding value.
