A leading international business with a significant presence across Europe is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its growing finance team. Operating within a fast-paced, global environment, the organisation is recognised for its scale, innovation and commitment to continuous improvement. Your new role
As Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting across a portfolio of EMEA entities. Responsibilities will include month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities, preparation of journals, accruals and adjustments, ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and management of intercompany transactions. Working closely with finance teams across multiple countries, you will support statutory reporting requirements, internal and external audits, ensure compliance with financial controls and act as a key finance contact for a range of stakeholders. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, standardisation initiatives and automation projects across the wider finance function.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with previous experience gained within a complex finance environment. You'll possess strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally including exposure to international reporting requirements and multi-entity accounting. Experience using major ERP systems such as SAP or Workday would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to build relationships across international teams and manage competing priorities effectively. A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in driving process improvements will be key to success in the role.
