Newly Qualified ACA – Financial Reporting & Control

City of London | Hybrid | £65,000 - £70,000 + Benefits

Are you a newly qualified ACA looking to take your first step out of practice and into industry? We’re partnering with a well-established financial services business to recruit a Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant into its Finance team, with a focus on financial reporting and control.

The Company

Our client is a specialist provider of outsourced investment administration, dealing and platform services to a wide range of investment managers and financial institutions. Operating as part of a larger, highly regarded financial services group, the business combines the stability and resources of a larger organisation with the agility and collaborative culture of a focused, growing team.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to build on their audit or practice experience in a regulated financial services environment. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the business’s financial reporting, while gaining exposure to senior stakeholders and group-level processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
