Financial Accountant | Newly Qualified ACA
We Do Group are partnering with a growing entertainment business to recruit a Financial Accountant into their finance team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a newly qualified ACA, ideally looking to make their first move from practice into industry, who wants to build on their technical accounting experience while gaining broader commercial exposure.
Working closely with the Financial Controller and senior leadership team, you’ll take ownership of key areas of financial reporting and month-end, while getting involved in forecasting, commercial analysis, systems development and process improvement.
What will you be doing?
- Supporting and owning key areas of the month-end close
- Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing fixed assets, intercompany charges and quarterly VAT returns
- Supporting audit preparation and corporation tax computations
- Working closely with senior leadership on spend and forecasting
- Providing commercial analysis to support business decision-making
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial performance and reduce costs
- Supporting systems and process improvements, including exposure to Oracle
- Helping strengthen controls and improve processes across the wider finance team
