Role Purpose

Join us as a Financial Accountant and play a central role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of our financial reporting. In this role, you will bring strong technical accounting expertise to the month-end close, statutory compliance, treasury activities, and financial controls, while helping to shape smarter, more efficient ways of working through process improvement and automation.

You will be a trusted finance partner to the business, providing clear insight, supporting informed decision-making, and contributing to a finance function that is scalable, efficient, and ready for continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of core financial accounting activities and ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting.
  • Manage the month-end close, including journals, reconciliations, management accounts, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and support statutory, tax, VAT, audit, and accounting requirements.
  • Provide clear financial insight to the business to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements and automation to create a more efficient and scalable finance function.

What you’ll bring

  • A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Strong technical financial accounting experience, including month-end close, statutory reporting, VAT, corporation tax, and audit requirements.
  • Solid experience in treasury, cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and financial controls.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems, ideally in a manufacturing or multinational environment.
  • A proactive, detail-focused, and analytical approach, with the ability to organize priorities and solve problems effectively.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in automation, Power BI, or other business intelligence tools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business.
