Financial Accountant
The Financial Accountant role is a key management position within the Finance function, responsible for overseeing the Sales Ledger Accountant and Finance Assistant across a range of team and business-wide finance activities.

Medium size business reporting into a larger group.
Description
- Manage billing and revenue recognition, ensuring accurate invoicing, reconciliations, and minimizing revenue leakage.
- Oversee VAT, tax compliance, statutory reporting, and external audit requirements.
- Act as the key finance contact for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring ledger accuracy, robust controls, and timely issue resolution.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury activities, and working capital performance.
- Monitor and improve financial controls, processes, and reporting across transactional finance functions.
- Support finance transformation projects, system enhancements, and process automation initiatives.

Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting.
- Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Job Offer
- Salary between £45,000 and £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Hybrid working arrangement for flexibility.
- Performance-related bonus scheme.
