Role Description

We’re excited to have the opportunity to add to our Finance team with an additional Financial Accountant role in our Head Office in Brixton.

The Financial Accountant role requires a high level of attention to detail and supports the Senior Financial Accountant in reviewing the work of Accounts Assistants. This includes ensuring transactions are accurately posted, balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a timely basis, and any issues or discrepancies within accounts are identified, investigated, and resolved promptly and appropriately. In addition, the Financial Accountant is responsible for debtor reviews, maintaining strong balance sheet control, and other ad hoc tasks as required.

The team comprises approximately 18 individuals with a wealth of experience working within Academy Music Group/Live Nation and other organisations.

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

Essential

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA, finalist/qualified, or by experience
  • Computer literacy – Excel, Outlook
  • Strong administration and time management skills

What the Role Includes

  • Review of Accounts Assistants’ reconciliations
  • Review debtors
  • Assisting in VAT process and controls
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Month End Balance Sheet reporting
  • Payment run review
  • Implementing SOX compliance measures and reviewing procedures
  • Assisting SFA in compiling year-end audit files
  • Ad-hoc analysis and tasks
