Your new role

As Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for month end reporting for a large and complex division of the charity. You will ensure balance sheet integrity and preparation of the P&L and Balance Sheet. At the year end you will be responsible for leading on the preparation of statutory accounts and assisting with the audit. You will also get experience of VAT reporting and of applying your technical accounting skills to help define organisational accounting policies. Working within a team of largely ex-practice accountants you will be well supported and helped on the next phase of your career.

What you'll need to succeed

We are looking for a qualified accountant who has good experience of accounts preparation or audit within practice. You should be keen to apply your technical accounting skills in a commercial setting. You'll need an enquiring mind as you will have responsibility for improving processes. We are looking for candidates who are keen to work in the not for profit arena and work for an organisation that gives back to society.
