Financial Accountant
£65,000 – £70,000 + Benefits | London | Hybrid – 3 days in the office
We’re working with a fast-growing, PE-backed international business to hire a Financial Accountant.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on growth business. Things move quickly, the business is evolving and there is plenty to fix, improve and build.
We’re ideally looking for someone who has worked in an SME or medium-sized business where finance is genuinely hands-on and your role has been varied. Somewhere you’ve had to roll your sleeves up, solve problems, improve processes and get things done.
You’ll work closely with the Group Financial Controller and CFO, taking ownership across financial reporting, compliance, audit and technical accounting, while helping improve the finance function as the business continues to scale.

What you'll be doing
- Managing monthly, quarterly and annual close
- Preparing group consolidations and financial reporting
- Coordinating the external audit and statutory accounts
- Supporting UK GAAP and technical accounting matters
- Managing tax, VAT and international compliance requirements
- Improving financial controls, processes and reporting
- Working across finance and the wider business to improve accuracy and insight
- Supporting projects and change as the business continues to grow
What we're looking for
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong financial accounting and statutory reporting experience.

More importantly, we want someone who is proactive, adaptable and comfortable with change. Someone who sees something that isn’t working and wants to fix it.
