Financial Accountant – 12-Month FTC - London | Hybrid - Up to £55,000 + Benefits
We’re working with a large international organisation looking to appoint a Financial Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a broad role supporting European financial operations, with responsibility for accurate financial reporting, statutory accounting, group consolidation and audit.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting monthly and year-end financial close
- Preparing balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Producing analysis and reports for senior stakeholders
- Preparing quarterly and annual group consolidation reporting
- Taking responsibility for the annual statutory audit
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies
- Providing technical accounting advice across the business
- Supporting finance system enhancements and process improvements
- Strengthening financial controls across accounting processes
- Assisting with ad hoc finance projects

About you:
- ACA, CIMA or equivalent qualified or part-qualified
- 3–5 years’ relevant finance and accounting experience
- Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
- Good understanding of statutory accounting and IFRS
- Confident Excel user
- Able to communicate effectively with operational and senior stakeholders
- Previous supervisory or people-management experience would be beneficial
