Financial Accountant - Investments

North London | 5 days office £42,000 - £50,000 + Study Support + Excellent Benefits

Cedar is working with a successful single-family office managing investments across private equity, quoted investments, property and commercial ventures.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant from practice looking to move into a commercial investment environment, with exposure to financial accounting, investment reporting and senior stakeholders.

The Role

  • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies
  • Payments, intercompany transactions and financial reporting
  • VAT returns and cash flow forecasting
  • Year-end accounts and credit risk reporting
  • Investment performance and portfolio reporting
  • Supporting private equity, quoted equity and property investments
  • Process improvement and finance projects

About You

  • ACA or ACCA part-qualified and at least halfway through your exams
  • Ideally trained in an accountancy practice
  • 2-3 years' relevant experience
  • Strong financial accounting, reconciliations and VAT experience
  • Good Excel and Xero skills
  • Commercially minded, organised and keen to develop
  • An interest in investments would be advantageous
