Help shape the finance function of a growing European company, and join us as our new Financial Accountant.
One Frio is a young, fast-growing network in temperature-controlled food logistics — formed by bringing together strong family businesses across the Netherlands and Ireland (Grolleman Coldstore, Nedcool, Coenen Boxmeer, and McCulla, Granville and KOG logistics in Ireland). We provide reliable cold storage, warehousing, order picking, transport and end-to-end logistics for food products. As we integrate several companies into one group, there’s real room to influence how things are done.
That’s what makes this role interesting. You’ll be strong in the fundamentals of accounting — and you’ll also enjoy looking beyond them: thinking about how processes can be smarter, how reporting can be more useful, and how finance can genuinely support the business. If you’re looking for a place where your ideas are welcome and you can grow with the company, we’d love to talk.
What you will do
- Own the core. Manage the full AP cycle, GL accounts, journal entries, balance-sheet specifications, VAT reconciliations, and month-, quarter- and year-end close — reliably and on time.
- Keep it clean across the group. Reconcile intercompany positions, review and tidy suspense accounts, and maintain a clear audit trail across a multi-entity group.
- Improve as you go. Notice where processes could be more efficient, and help shape better ways of working — including more automation — so finance can scale well as we grow.
- Understand the business. Spend time with the sites, learn how cold storage and logistics work, and turn that understanding into reporting and insight leadership can use.
- Build with us. Work closely with the regional finance director and across our group companies as we bring systems and ways of working together.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
