Description
As a Financial Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting across the Group. Working across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions, you'll help deliver high-quality financial information that informs business decision-making, regulatory compliance, and effective financial governance.
This is a hands-on role where you'll apply your technical accounting expertise across financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax, and financial controls. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, as well as auditors, advisers, and international finance teams, helping to resolve complex accounting issues, maintain robust governance frameworks, and drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing accurate monthly and annual financial reporting for UK entities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Building effective relationships with auditors, advisers, regulators, and finance stakeholders to support reporting, assurance, and compliance activities
- Producing Group consolidations and multi-currency reporting, resolving complex accounting issues, and ensuring consistency across international entities
- Providing technical accounting guidance on the application of accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Supporting the delivery of statutory, regulatory, and tax compliance obligations across UK and international operations
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and controls, enhancing efficiency and the quality of financial information across the Group
- Contributing to treasury and cash management activities while maintaining strong financial governance and control standards

What You’ll Need

- A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including statutory reporting, financial governance, and financial controls
- Experience using ERP systems and reporting tools to produce, evaluate, and interpret financial information
- Knowledge of UK and international financial reporting requirements, including FRS102, IFRS, and statutory accounting obligations
- Experience of group reporting, financial consolidations, and working within a multi-entity environment
- Knowledge of UK and international tax requirements, including corporate tax, indirect taxes, and transfer pricing principles
- The ability to interpret complex financial information and apply sound professional judgment to resolve accounting issues and advise stakeholders
