Financial Accountant
We are looking for a Financial Accountant for a 15 month maternity cover, to be based at either our Willerby or Dunstable site. This is a Hybrid role with 3 days working in the office and 2 days working from home.
As the Financial Accountant you will oversee financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, acting as key contact for stakeholders and providing financial insights to support stakeholders' decisions.
What You Will Do
- Own the end-to-end General Ledger process: from transactions to final reporting
- Deliver accurate financial statements and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls and company policies
- Support internal & external audits with confidence
- Drive quality and efficiency across accounting processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders across a global, matrix organisation
- Act as a trusted advisor to our stakeholders
- Coach and support colleagues, strengthening team capability

Who You Are
- An experienced accountant with proven General Ledger experience
- Confident working with SAP (ECC/S/4) and Office 365, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Knowledgeable in IFRS and audit processes
- Detail-focused, analytical and solutions-orientated
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and deliver to tight deadlines
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills
- A role model for integrity, compliance and business ethics
- Passionate about continuous improvement and developing others
- A professionally qualified accountant with an ACA or ACCA accreditation; or part-qualified accountant
- Previous experience gained in a cross-cultural matrix organisation
