  • Preparing monthly financial reports, including analysis and insightful commentary across financial performance, KPIs, balance sheet and cash flow.
  • Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records, accounts and processes, ensuring appropriate accounting standards, governance and controls are consistently applied.

  • Partnering with Commercial Finance teams and the wider business to understand performance, challenge results and provide meaningful financial insight.
  • Supporting the Insurance Division’s financial control framework, including strengthening controls across existing and new systems.
  • Producing regulatory returns, including Retail Mediation Activities Returns (RMAR) and Product Sales Data (PSD) returns for the FCA, alongside other regulatory requirements.
  • Contributing to forecasts, budgets and five-year plans, including maintaining accurate information within planning and consolidation systems.
  • Driving continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting, identifying opportunities to automate, standardise and simplify ways of working.
  • Collaborating with external advisers, auditors and colleagues across Insurance and Group Finance, supporting year-end and interim audits as well as wider projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
