Financial Accountant - Fixed Assets & Tax
FGH Business Centre
66-70 Vicar Ln, Bradford
BD1 5AJ
Hybrid flexibility: 2 office days per week
About The Role
To provide financial accounting, control and reporting services as outlined in the main accountability section below.
Accountabilities
- To maintain fixed asset register and company’s capex process including forecasts and reporting
- Preparation of monthly VAT return, assist with developing VAT procedures and HMRC enquiries
- Preparation of Corporation Tax information to support year-end reporting and return preparation
- Liaising with external advisers as directed by Head of Financial Reporting
- Responsible for collating and reporting ONS information
- Reconciling financial ledgers and assisting with finance system maintenance
- Assist with cash flow reporting on a monthly basis
- Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements alongside the team
- To take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other persons who may be affected by acts and omissions at work
- To be committed to the fair treatment of customers at all times
- Ensure compliance with all applicable UK and local regulations, Company Policies and FCA Conduct Rules
- Demonstrate behaviours in line with our Company values

- Complete main accountabilities whilst operating within group accounting guidelines

About You
- Qualified Accountant ACA or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- VAT and Corporation Tax knowledge and experience
- Well-developed Excel skills
- Ability to deliver to strict reporting deadlines
- Attention to detail, and focus on adherence to control processes in the business and statutory obligations
