Financial Accountant
Equifind is excited to be working with a global financial services group on the search for a Financial Accountant to join their European HQ in London Bridge.
This is a seriously ambitious, high-growth business that's been expanding fast through diversification, organic growth, and acquisitions. With revenues in the billions and 20% YOY growth, they're one of the real success stories in the market right now.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant who's technically strong, enjoys working with people, and wants to actually make a difference. The work covers a broad mix of responsibilities — project management, group consolidations, financial reporting, acquisition accounting, regulatory reporting, and more.

Key Duties of the Role
- Maintaining accurate ledgers and ensuring journals are raised in line with policy
- Managing high-risk balance sheet areas, including reconciliations and analytical reporting
- Liaising with external auditors and third-party financial support services throughout the audit process
- Producing timely, accurate management information with clear analysis and commentary for the wider finance team
- Developing strategic KPIs that align the business with the group's overall vision
- Preparing statutory accounts for a small number of entities in accordance with GAAP, including supporting trial balance schedules
Experience & Qualifications

- Qualified accountant (preferably trained in public practice)
- Experience of working with large, international entities
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP reporting standards
- Great communication skills and the ability to speak finance to non-finance personnel
- Strong Excel skills and advanced modelling
- Exceptional commercial awareness
Package
- Base salary of £60-70,000
