Financial Accountant - 12 month FTC - London/Hybrid (2 days a week) - £60,000 plus benefits
We are partnering with a growing financial services company to recruit a qualified Financial Accountant. You will support the month-end close, take ownership of key balance sheet and bank reconciliations, and assist with the accounting of receivables and forward flow funding arrangements. You will also manage and develop a direct report within Accounts Payable.
This will be an initial 12 month fixed term contract and is a hybrid role where you will be needed onsite 2 days a week.

What you will be doing:
- Support month-end close and prepare monthly management accounts.
- Own balance sheet, bank and high-volume reconciliations.
- Complete income analysis and ensure accurate accounting under FRS 102.
- Support VAT reporting and external audit requirements.
- Reconcile receivables sold to funding partners and support forward-flow funding accounting.
- Prepare clear analysis explaining financial movements and their commercial impact.
- Manage and develop a direct report within Accounts Payable.
- Improve finance processes through automation, AI and technology.

What we are looking for:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Strong financial accounting and month-end experience.
- Excellent reconciliation and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Previous line management experience.
