Cedar has partnered with a successful single-family office that manages a diverse portfolio of private equity, quoted investments, property, and commercial ventures. This is a rare opportunity to combine hands-on financial accounting with investment reporting, while working closely with senior stakeholders in a collaborative and high-performing environment.

The Role
You'll support the day-to-day finance function while gaining increasing exposure to investment reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities Include:
- Daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies.
- Preparing payments, intercompany transfers, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Quarterly VAT returns and support with the principal's personal tax affairs.
- Cash flow forecasting and reporting for senior leadership.
- Balance sheet reconciliations and year-end accounts.
- Credit risk reporting.
- Supporting reporting across private equity, quoted equity, and property investments.
- Preparing investment performance analysis and portfolio reporting.
- Identifying process improvements, including the use of AI tools.
- Supporting the wider finance team on a variety of projects.

About You
You'll be:
- Part-qualified ACA or ACCA, with more than half of your professional exams completed.
- Able to demonstrate 2-3 years' experience within a commercial finance role.
- Experienced in bank reconciliations, payments, VAT, and core financial accounting.
- Confident using Excel and Xero, or a similar accounting system.
- Interested in investments and keen to broaden your commercial exposure.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
