Temp assignment for an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified/part qualified accountant with excellent analytical skills.

This is a short-term temporary assignment for a period of 3 months and will assist the Financial Controller with a variety of duties including general ledger analysis, possibly tax packs, transfer pricing, balance sheet reconciliations, group reporting, stock reconciliations and possibly some bill of materials revaluation.

  • Hours are 37.5 per week, and it is envisaged that one day may be undertaken on a hybrid basis. The role however will be based near Grimsby.
  • Although ideally the role will be 5 days per week, a 4-day working week can be made available.
  • Free onsite parking available

The Candidate:

  • The successful candidate should be available for an immediate start and be a qualified or part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant.
  • Living within a commutable area of Grimsby is important as the role is unable to be undertaken on a remote basis although it is envisaged that one day per week could be on a hybrid basis.
  • Strong analytical skills are essential along with a good background in financial accounting, a high degree of systems literacy and the ability to pick things up quickly.
  • A previous background in the manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
