This Financial Accountant role in Coventry is all about managing financial reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards within the business services industry.
You'll play a key part in the smooth running of the accounting and finance department.

The successful Financial Accountant will have strong Financial Accounting experience.

This is a hybrid position in Coventry.
A qualification in either ACCA, CIMA or ACA is essential.
Description
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Business partnering with internal stakeholders.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts to maintain accuracy.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and analysis.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A professional accounting qualification or part-qualification (e.g, ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and handling audits.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Good communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
