My valued client is looking for a Financial Accountant to join them on an interim basis for 6 months, to help them through a busy period. This is a highly technical role with a hands-on element including managing month-end and reconciliations work.

Successful business based in Medway.

Description

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Statutory accounts preparation for multiple legal entities
  • Preparation of consolidated accounts
  • Preparation of the month-end accounts along with balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
  • Reviewing journal entries to ensure accuracy
  • Supporting the finance team with internal audit matters and any technical accounting issues
  • Internal controls testing

Profile

My client is looking for someone with the following experience:

  • Fully Qualified (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge including US GAAP and FRS102
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to create and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Strong Excel skills

Job Offer

A day rate of up to £310 per day (paye) or £350 per day (umbrella)

Hybrid working - 2 days in the office in Medway and 3 from home
