The Opportunity
Are you someone at the early stages of their career seeking their 1st or 2nd role? This is a great opportunity to join a private equity backed successful and growing financial services business. Working within a team of 6 within financial reporting this role provides broad coverage and will support your ACA/ACCA studies.
The role
- Assist in the production of statutory accounts for all group entities
- Assist with the external audit process and day to day audit activities
- Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual FCA regulatory reporting
- Support on technical accounting matters such as keeping abreast of new IFRS treatments and supporting any new M&A activity
- Assist with the preparation of VAT and corporation tax returns
- Assist with ongoing projects within financial reporting/wider finance team

Your profile
- You could be a recent graduate within a numerical based degree or have 12-18 months experience within financial accounting/reporting and seeking the next step in your financial reporting career
- Good knowledge of excel and keen to learn
- Ability to build strong relationships within the team and also with external stakeholders

Office/Hybrid working?
At the start of your employment, this will be more office based but shortly it will be a hybrid role with 1 to 2 days per week office based and rest from home. Car parking is available on site.
