A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a technically strong, qualified accountant to join a leading, multi-award-winning Entertainment Group as a Financial/Group Accountant.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of Group accounting, statutory reporting, compliance and taxation across a fast-growing, creative business.

Renowned for its innovative work and strong industry reputation, the Group operates across the UK and US and continues to expand its highly successful portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and genuinely friendly finance team within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The role would suit a candidate who trained within a top-tier accountancy practice and has experience working with Media, Entertainment or other creative businesses. Some post-qualification experience within a Media, Entertainment or Creative company would be preferred; however, strong recently qualified accountants (1–2 years’ PQE) looking to make their first move from practice will also be considered.

You will need to be technically confident, with a strong understanding of Group consolidations, statutory reporting and financial controls. You'll be self motivated, with an approachable friendly personality with the confidence to deal with colleagues of all levels.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
