Financial Accountant

We are recruiting a Financial Accountant for a successful and growing real estate investment business. The budget for this hire is £65,000 - £75,000 (dependent upon experience) + Bonus + Benefits.

This is a broad role within the Group finance team, offering exposure across management and statutory reporting, financial control and a range of property and corporate activity.

The position would suit a qualified accountant who enjoys having ownership of their work while operating within a high-quality finance team and gaining exposure to a large and evolving property portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Producing management accounts and supporting analysis for a portfolio of Group entities
  • Supporting the half-year and year-end financial reporting processes
  • Preparing statutory accounts and associated working papers
  • Maintaining strong balance sheet controls and completing regular reconciliations
  • Preparing and reviewing journals and other period-end accounting adjustments
  • Working closely with the external auditors and responding to information requests
  • Supporting the accounting requirements arising from property acquisitions, disposals and other transactions
  • Ensuring financial information across the entities under your responsibility is accurate, complete and delivered to agreed deadlines
  • Working with colleagues across the wider finance and property teams on ad hoc projects and reporting requirements

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
