Financial Accountant – 9 Month Contract – London – Hybrid - £300-400 day rate (depending on experience) – End of August start
Join the finance team of a globally recognised leader in the entertainment and technology sector, renowned for its innovation, iconic consumer products, and international presence. Operating across multiple markets, the business offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment where finance plays a key role in supporting commercial performance and strategic decision-making.
This 9-month Inside IR35 day rate contract offers the opportunity to work within a high-performing international finance function, gaining exposure to complex reporting, statutory accounting, and senior stakeholder engagement in a world-class organisation.

- Prepare and submit monthly group management reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting deadlines.
- Produce statutory financial statements for UK entities in line with FRS 102 and UK reporting requirements.
- Lead the year-end external audit process, acting as the primary finance contact for external auditors and resolving technical accounting matters.
- Maintain finance master data within SAP, ensuring strong governance, data integrity, and robust internal controls.
- Analyse balance sheet and P&L performance, providing insightful commentary and recommendations to support business decision-making.
About You
- ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualified accountant with strong technical financial accounting knowledge.
- Proven experience preparing statutory accounts under FRS102 within a multinational or complex business environment.
- Strong experience leading external audits and confidently managing technical accounting discussions with auditors.
- Hands-on SAP experience, with advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability.
- A proactive, organised communicator who can build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
