We’re looking for a high-potential financial accountant to join Forsyth Barnes and work directly with the Finance Director and his team.

Forsyth Barnes is a fast-growing global talent partner with offices in Nottingham, London, Dubai and New York - and three Financial Times fastest-growing company recognitions.

This is a broad and hands-on role offering exposure across all areas of finance, from core operations through to reporting, cash management, and commercial support. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the finance function runs smoothly day-to-day, while also contributing to improving processes and supporting business performance.

The position is designed as a development role, with a clear pathway to take on increasing responsibility over time and grow into a more senior finance position.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function
  • Ensuring accuracy and control across financial processes and outputs
  • Contributing to reporting, analysis, and performance tracking
  • Supporting cash flow management and working capital visibility
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes

What we’re looking for

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Working towards an accountancy accreditation (part qualified)
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
  • Organised and comfortable working across multiple processes
  • Keen to learn, take ownership, and develop within a growing business
