You'll enjoy the satisfaction of being part of a unique culture dedicated to creating exceptional experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a broad analytical and reporting role responsible for supporting the monthly reporting process, including financial analysis and account preparation, for a designated group of countries within the EAPAC region.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience and demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver the highest standards of service and financial support.

Role Summary

As a Financial Accountant, you will have full ownership and responsibility for the financial accounting activities of your assigned legal entities within the EAPAC region. This includes month-end close and reporting, statutory compliance, payroll oversight, balance sheet reconciliations, forecasting, and audit support.

Working closely with Operations and key business stakeholders, you will provide financial insight and guidance to support decision-making, ensure compliance with local and corporate requirements, and drive continuous improvement across finance processes. This role offers a high level of autonomy and is an excellent opportunity for a proactive finance professional who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships, and operating in a fast-paced international environment.

During a Typical Day, You'll

  • Prepare monthly management accounts for submission to Corporate Headquarters, including journal preparation and review, supporting analysis, and compliance with corporate policies and reporting deadlines.
  • Coordinate and oversee payroll activities for designated countries, including payroll approval and preparation/review of payroll journals.
  • Liaise with local payroll providers to ensure all employer social security contributions, employee tax deductions, and statutory filings are submitted and paid on time.
  • Prepare monthly revenue calculations, partner with Operations to determine programme headcount requirements, and post revenue entries to the General Ledger.
  • Prepare and present monthly variance analysis comparing actual results against budget and forecast data for review during EAPAC P&L calls.
  • Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and procedures.
  • Ensure effective internal controls are applied across all accounting functions and recommend process improvements where appropriate.
  • Liaise with Corporate Finance regarding monthly reporting requirements and respond promptly to ad hoc requests.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and funding requests.
  • Act as the primary contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring statutory accounts and tax filings are completed within required deadlines.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities regarding VAT returns, withholding tax (WHT), national statistics reporting, and other statutory requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
