Your new company
An established business is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join the team on a 3-month temporary contract with an ASAP start. This role offers a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Your new role
As Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Payroll and ensuring PAYE and NI payments are up-to-date with HMRC
- Processing weekly supplier payment runs
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns
- Supporting the annual audit process
You will also assist the Finance Director with budgeting, forecasting, and due diligence activities relating to potential acquisitions.

What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage a varied workload
Experience with payroll, VAT returns, and financial reporting is desirable.
