Financial Accountant
£55,000 – £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Central London – Hybrid Working
We are supporting a high-growth FinTech business that has experienced exceptional growth in recent years and is continuing to scale.
As the business continues to develop, they are looking to strengthen their Finance team with the appointment of a Financial Accountant.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant with experience within industry who is looking to develop their career within a fast-growing and entrepreneurial business.
Working closely with the senior Finance team, you'll take ownership of a broad range of financial accounting activities and play an important role in the continued development of the Finance function.

- Taking ownership of month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting financial analysis
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
- Reviewing bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
- Supporting cash flow and working capital management
- Assisting with audit, financial controls and reporting requirements
- Preparing financial schedules and supporting analysis for senior Finance stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline existing finance processes
- Supporting automation and improving the use of finance systems
You'll ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Strong financial accounting fundamentals
- Experience with month-end, journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Experience preparing management accounts and financial analysis
- Experience working within a fast-paced, growing or scale-up business
- A hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Good communication skills and confidence working with senior Finance stakeholders
- An interest in process improvement, automation and finance technology
