Financial Accounting Manager (International) | London (hybrid) | £70,000-£75,000 plus bonus | Global Consumer Brand | 6-9 month contract
A Financial Accounting Manager is required to work for a leading global consumer brand based in London. This is an opportunity to work for a large, internationally recognised business, this is a key role as the business continues to strengthen its presence internationally.
Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will be leading financial accounting activities across the UK, Ireland and Nordics. The role will ensure a high-quality and timely month-end close, robust statutory reporting, and effective audit management.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading and overseeing the month-end close process for 3 regions (UK, Ireland and Nordics), ensuring accuracy, completeness and adherence to Group deadlines
- Reviewing and challenging balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring appropriate controls are in place
- Coordinating the preparation and review of statutory accounts across all entities
- Acting as a key point of contact for technical accounting matters, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements
- Leading the delivery of interim and year-end audits, acting as primary contact for external auditors
- Delivering monthly management accounts for UK Back Office cost centres, including clear and insightful variance analysis
- Supporting the preparation of annual budgets and forecasting cycles

- Qualified Accountant with 2+ years post qualified experience
- Strong technical accounting knowledge across IFRS and statutory reporting
- Proven experience managing month-end close, audits and statutory accounts within a multi-entity or international environment
- Retail industry experience is strongly preferred
- SAP or similar ERP experience is beneficial but not essential
- You will be proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented, with excellent stakeholder management skills and a collaborative, continuous improvement mindset
