Financial Accounting Manager, EMEA – Global Technology – 6 month FTC - Egham, Surrey – Hybrid working (2 days in office) - £100,000

As Financial Accounting Manager, EMEA, in this 6 month FTC, you’ll take ownership of the regional accounting function, leading the month-end close, financial reporting and technical accounting.
The Role
- Lead the EMEA month-end close, covering revenue, cash, payroll, fixed assets, leases and operating expenses.
- Review complex reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and strong audit trails.
- Manage, mentor and develop a team of accountants, providing technical guidance and oversight.
- Ensure accounting policies and reporting comply with Local GAAP and US GAAP.
- Partner with Finance, FP&A, Treasury, HR and other teams on reporting and business projects.
- Drive process improvements, systems projects and best-practice initiatives across the accounting function.

Requirements
- Qualified accountant CIMA / ACA / ACCA
- 5+ years’ progressive accounting experience working within industry
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience, with a solid understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Must have experience working in D365
- Must have experience working in a global and complex business
- A hands-on, commercially minded leader with strong analytical skills, an ownership mentality and a passion for improving processes.
