Are you a qualified accountant with strong statutory accounts experience looking for your next contract opportunity? We are working exclusively with a leading London-based organisation to recruit a Financial Accounting Manager on a 9 month fixed term contract.

The Role

This is a pivotal position within a busy Group Finance function, with primary responsibility for managing the end-to-end production of a high volume of statutory accounts ahead of a Summer 2027 filing deadline. You will coordinate the external audit process across a significant number of entities, liaise with the Group Tax team on statutory disclosures, and support the wider team with month-end close and the production of the Group's Annual Report and Accounts.

This is a technically demanding role that requires someone who can hit the ground running, manage a complex timetable across multiple entities, and maintain the highest standards of accuracy throughout. Ideally we are looking for someone that has experience working in the property/real estate sector.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
