Financial Adviser - Northern Ireland
We are working with a growing national financial planning and wealth management business, backed by a major UK investment and wealth management group, as it continues to expand its presence across Northern Ireland. Following investment in its Belfast operation, the business is looking to appoint two experienced Financial Advisers to support its continued growth across the region.
This is an excellent opportunity for established advisers seeking the backing and infrastructure of a national wealth management business while retaining the autonomy and client-focused approach of a high-quality financial planning practice.
The Opportunity
The business has grown through organic expansion and the acquisition of established financial planning practices across the UK. Its Northern Ireland operation is entering its next phase of growth, with plans to build a strong local advisory team supported by dedicated administration and paraplanning capability.
The successful Financial Advisers will develop and maintain long-term client relationships, provide holistic financial planning advice, and contribute to the continued growth of the Northern Ireland business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
