Financial Adviser Opportunity

An opportunity for an experienced Financial Adviser to join a growing financial planning business, inheriting an existing client portfolio and developing further business opportunities. The role focuses on delivering high-quality independent financial advice while maintaining regulatory compliance and building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide independent financial planning and wealth management advice to clients.
  • Manage and develop an existing client bank.
  • Conduct client reviews and maintain ongoing relationships.
  • Gather and analyse client financial information to formulate suitable recommendations.
  • Research and evaluate financial products and solutions.
  • Build relationships with professional introducers and third-party partners.
  • Identify opportunities to grow market share and enhance client experience.
  • Keep up to date with industry, regulatory and legislative developments.
  • Ensure all activity complies with FCA requirements and company compliance procedures.
  • Maintain accurate client records and update internal systems.

Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an Independent Financial Adviser.
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (or equivalent approved qualification).
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Wealth management
    • Pensions
    • Investments
    • Protection planning
    • UK financial services marketplace
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making ability.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to business development.
  • Commitment to ongoing CPD and maintaining a Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).

Ideal Candidate

An experienced, client-facing Independent Financial Adviser who is confident managing an existing portfolio, developing new business opportunities, and providing holistic financial planning advice while operating within a highly regulated environment.

This is essentially an employed IFA role with a client bank to inherit, making it particularly attractive to advisers currently building their own client base who would prefer an established portfolio and strong support infrastructure.
