Financial Adviser – Inherit an Existing Client Bank | Hybrid Working | Wealth Management
📍 Location: Near Colchester, Essex (Hybrid Working)
💷 Salary: Up to £80,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Financial Adviser looking to inherit an established client portfolio while working for a highly respected independent Wealth Management firm?
We're recruiting on behalf of an award-winning financial planning business with an outstanding reputation for delivering bespoke advice to high-net-worth individuals and families. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Financial Adviser to join their collaborative, client-focused team.
This is an exceptional opportunity to take over an existing bank of loyal clients from day one, allowing you to focus on strengthening relationships, delivering outstanding advice and growing your portfolio through referrals and professional introducers. With dedicated paraplanning and administrative support, you'll spend more time doing what you do best, advising clients and less time on paperwork.

- Inheriting and managing an established portfolio of existing clients.
- Providing holistic financial planning advice across pensions, investments, retirement planning, and protection.
- Conducting regular client reviews and delivering exceptional ongoing service.
- Building trusted, long-term client relationships.
- Working closely with an experienced paraplanning and client support team.
- Developing new business through referrals and professional introducers.
- Ensuring all advice meets FCA regulatory standards.
About You:
We're looking for an experienced Financial Adviser who is confident managing an established portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality holistic financial planning advice. You will ideally have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a regulated Financial Adviser within a Wealth Management or Independent Financial Planning environment.
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum).
- A proven track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Experience advising on pensions, investments, retirement planning, and protection.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A client-first, ethical approach to financial planning.
- The ability to identify opportunities to develop existing client relationships and generate referrals.
- Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and suitability requirements.
