Financial Adviser | Cheshire & North Wales | Hybrid

Self-Employed or Employed Opportunity

My client, a highly respected and expanding wealth management firm, is seeking an experienced Financial Adviser to join its business on a self-employed or employed basis.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious adviser who wants the freedom and earning potential of self-employment without sacrificing the support, infrastructure, and resources of an established wealth management business.

Whether you already have an established client bank or are looking to continue growing your business within a supportive environment, my client offers the platform, flexibility, and backing to help you maximize your long-term success.

The Opportunity

This role offers genuine entrepreneurial freedom, allowing you to build and develop your own business while benefiting from the strength of an established brand and experienced support team. You'll focus on delivering holistic financial planning advice and building long-term client relationships, while dedicated paraplanning, administration, compliance, and marketing functions help remove much of the day-to-day operational burden. The business has an excellent reputation for client service and provides advisers with the tools, support, and flexibility needed to grow a sustainable, profitable practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic financial planning advice across pensions, investments, retirement planning, and protection.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Develop your own client portfolio through referrals, networking, and business development activities.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial reviews and deliver tailored financial planning solutions.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients through ongoing servicing and review meetings.
  • Work closely with the paraplanning and administration teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Ensure all recommendations remain fully compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Continue developing your professional knowledge and maintaining high technical standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
